ELMHURST, Ill., October 29, 2009 – Fans of Elmhurst College Bluejay athletics have a new source to follow all of the Bluejay athletic teams. The College has launched a new website at www.elmhurstbluejays.com dedicated to the latest news, results, and more, on all 18 of the College;'s athletic teams.
The new site was designed by the College's Office of Communications and Public Affairs in conjunction with Internet Consulting Services, a Syracuse, N.Y., based company that specializes in collegiate athletic websites.
Along with news stories, team schedules, player and coaching staff biographies, and statistics, elmhurstbluejays.com also includes: a new, easy-to-navigate layout, photos of the Bluejays in action, video highlights, and expanded live in-game statistics.
A new feature of the website allows fans to sign up and receive scores of selected Elmhurst teams sent right to their mobile phone. Visitors to elmhurstbluejays.com can also register to receive a weekly electronic newsletter delivered to their email inboxes.
"The new website allows Elmhurst fans, parents, students, and alumni a new and exciting way to stay up to date on all of our teams," said Elmhurst Athletic Director Paul Krohn. "We're pleased to offer this new resource to all of the Bluejay supporters."
The Bluejays are charter members of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and compete at the NCAA Division III level.
