OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Elmhurst College cross country teams returned to action by running at the NCAA Midwest Regional hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The women's team placed 11th with 298 points while the men's squad finished 23rd with 639 points.
Katlyn Bednarski earned all-region honors by placing 24th.
Katlyn Bednarski earned all-region honors to pace the Bluejay women's team. Bednarski finished 24th in 22:30. Hannah Williams finished 58th in 23:16 while
Shanua Potrawski crossed the finish line in 65th place (23:26).
Mariola Grzybowska finished in 75th place in 23:34 while
Megan Johnson finished less than a second behind in 76th place.
Lauren Williams (85th place in 23:41) and
Amanda Andersen (130th place in 24:43) rounded out the Bluejays' top seven.
On the men's side, the Bluejays were led by
Jake Austin's 93rd place finish in 26:29.
Tom McGrath finished in 103rd place in 26:41 while
Nathan Selling placed 135th with a time of 27:09.
Ken Ptack finished 153rd in 27:28 while
Jeff Camp placed 155th in 27:31.
Danny DeCleene (184th place in 28:16) and
Andrew Dunham (186th place in 29:18) rounded out the Bluejays' top seven.
