VALPARAISO, Ind. - The Elmhurst College bowling team moved to 9-30 overall after posting a 2-6 record at the Crusader Classic hosted by Valparaiso University.
Sophomore
Amanda Warwick highlighted the event by bowling a perfect game and being named to the all-Crusader Classic team.
Amanda Warwick became the first Bluejay in school history to bowl a perfect game.
The tournament's first day featured four total pinfall Baker matches. The Bluejays fell to 16th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater 781-735 before suffering a 767-701 loss to 20th-ranked Valparaiso University. The Bluejays dropped a 752-689 decision to #12 Minnesota State-Mankato before closing the first day with a 686-644 victory over Adrian College.
Elmhurst kicked off the event's second day with a bang, as the Bluejays ripped UW-Whitewater 1050-952 behind Warwick's perfect score of 300. Warwick rolled 12 consecutive strikes to become the first Bluejay bowler in school history to record a perfect game.

Sarah Paul rolled a 197 in the Bluejays' win. The Bluejays suffered a 943-915 loss to Valparaiso despite
Bethany Holden bowling a team-leading 191. Vogler added a 189 and Paul finished with a 188 in the loss to the host Crusaders.
The Bluejays were downed 973-812 to Minnesota State-Mankato with Paul bowling a team-leading 180 in the loss. Elmhurst closed the Crusader Classic with a four-pin loss (826-822) to Adrian. Holden paced the Bluejays in the loss with a 200 while
Shannon Grimes added a 193.
