Men's Soccer Team Earns National Ranking

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's soccer team, the champions of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), has cracked the national ranking for the first time this season. The Bluejays, who finished the regular season with a 12-3-3- overall record, are ranked 23rd in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III poll.
The national ranking marks the second straight season the Bluejays have appeared in the national top-25.
The Bluejays have also climbed to number three in the latest NSCAA Central Region Poll.
In just its sixth season as a varsity sport, the Elmhurst men's soccer squad captured its first-ever CCIW title by finishing the conference season undefeated with a 5-0-2 record. The Bluejays host Augustana College in a CCIW Tournament semifinal match on Wednesday, November 4, at Berens Park. The Bluejays have clinched home field advantage throughout the entire CCIW Tournament. The winner of the tournament receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
