Tournament Bracket

ELMHURST, Ill. -
For the first time in its brief six-year history, the Elmhurst College men's soccer team is headed to the NCAA Tournament.  The Bluejays were among the field of 59 teams that was announced on Sunday evening. Elmhurst was selected as one of the 17 at-large Pool C teams.

Elmhurst does not have to travel far for its first-round game, as the Bluejays will be playing in nearby River Forest. Dominican University will serve as the host institution for the first and second round contests.

Elmhurst will square off against Dominican in its first-round game on Saturday, November 14, at 11:00 a.m.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will face St. Olaf College in the other first-round match at 1:30 p.m.  The winners of the two Saturday matches will face off in the second round of the tournament on Sunday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will not be sold in advance and will only be available on the day of the game.

Elmhurst clashed with Dominican (15-1-3) earlier this season and played the Stars to a 1-1 double overtime draw on September 9.

Elmhurst captured its first CCIW Championship this season with a 5-0-2 conference record. The Bluejays advanced to the CCIW Tournament finals but lost the league's automatic bid in a penalty-kick shootout. Elmhurst finished the regular-season with a 13-3-4 overall record and is in the middle of a 10-game unbeaten streak that dates back to September.
