Cross Country Teams Run at Augustana

DAVENPORT, Iowa - The Elmhurst College men's and women's cross country teams both placed 12th at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College.
The men's team totaled 363 points to take 12th place while the women's squad scored 283 points to finish 12th.
Shauna Potrawski led the women's team with a 39th place finish with a time of 21:32.2. Hannah Williams placed 46th in 21:37.2 while Megan Johnson finished in 60th place with a time of 21:57.0. Lauren Williams added an 80th place finish (22:13.5) while Amanda Andersen placed 90th in 21:19.3. Rebekah Clark (123rd place in 22:52.1) and Mariola Grzybowska (127th place in 22:57.3) rounded out the Bluejays' scoring.
On the men's side, the Bluejays were led by Jake Austin's 59th place finish in 26:56.5. Jeff Camp crossed the finish line in 90th place in 27:26.7 while Tom McGrath finished in 96th place with a time of 27:33.3. Nathan Selling placed 110th in 27:46.8 and Ken Ptack finished 131st in 28:02.7. Danny DeCleene (184th place in 28:58.8) and Andrew Dunham (196th place in 29:11.6) rounded out Elmhurst's top-seven.
Both cross country teams will run at the Benedictine University Invitational on October 9.
