Bluejays Golf at Wisconsin Lutheran Invite

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team shot a two-day score of 643 to place seventh at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational.
Elmhurst was tied for second place at the conclusion of the first day of the tournament after shooting a 308. Windy conditions affected every team's play on the second day of the tournament, and Elmhurst shot a 335 to finish in seventh place overall.
Freshman Josh Gorzney led Elmhurst by scoring a top-10 finish. Gorzney totaled a 154 (73-81) to place sixth overall. Billy Buchholz tied for 21st place with a 162 (79-83) while Josh Magee finished just one stroke behind in 23rd place with a 163 (77-86). Matt Cross shot a 164 (79-85) to tie for 28th place while Scott Stastny rounded out the Bluejays' scoring in 45th place with a 170 (80-90).
The Bluejays will golf at the Millikin University Fall Classic on October 2-3.
