WAVERLY, Iowa - The Elmhurst College men's cross country team totaled 299 points to place 10th out of 25 teams at the Dan Houston Pre National Invitational hosted by Wartburg College. 

Pat Austin was the first Bluejay to cross the finish line, placing 21st in 26:32. His brother Jake Austin finished in 37th place in 26:56 while Doug Vrchota recorded a time of 27:37, good for a 65th place finish. Nathan Selling placed 80th in 27:56 while David Melone completed the Bluejays' team score with a 116th place finish in 28:46. Jeff Camp placed 135th in 29:05 and Jordan Bartolazzi rounded out the Bluejays' top-seven by placing 159th with a time of 29:36.

The Bluejays run at next weekend's Brooks Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
