ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College wrestling team improved to 2-0 on the season by blanking Wheaton College 46-0 at R.A. Faganel Hall.

Elmhurst won all six matches it wrestled. Wheaton (0-4) had to forfeit matches at 133, 197, and 285 pounds and the 125 pound weight class was a double forfeit.

Mike Grice scored six points for the Bluejays at 141 pounds by pinning Wheaton's Casey Krahn in 2:51. At 149 pounds, Ryan Earley edged Wheaton's Matt Cordell 4-2. Zach Crawford need just 1:02 to pin Wheaton's Cameron Fox at 157 pounds.

Elmhurst's Yousef Al-Ghoul followed with a pin of Logan Meurer in 2:53 at 165 pounds. Danny Balderas scored a 16-5 major decision over Wheaton's Matt Fenlason at 174 pounds. Joe Rau closed out the dual with a 13-6 victory over Wheaton's Justin Marble at 184 pounds.

Elmhurst competes at the Concordia University Open on Saturday, November 20.
