ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team shot a two-day total of 630 to place 11th out of 14 teams at the Augustana College Invitational.
The Bluejays fired a 318 on day one and shot a 312 on day two to finish with a 630. St. Ambrose won the team title with a 385.
Josh Gorzney was the top finisher for the Bluejays. Gorzney shot consecutive 77s to total a 154 and place 23rd.
Matt Cross finished one stroke behind with a 155 (80-75), tying for 24th place.
Billy Buchholz shot a 160 (81-79) to tie for 44th place while
Tyler Qahhaar totaled a 161 (80-81) to tie for 47th place.
Scott Stastny rounded out the Bluejays' scoring by shooting a 162 (81-81) to tie for 51st place.
The Bluejays will golf at the St. Francis Invitational on April 13.
