Women's Golf Team Has Strong Showing at Augie Invite

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's golf team had a strong showing at the Augustana College Spring Invitational by placing fifth.
The Bluejays shot a one-day score of 391 to finish just one stroke out of fourth place.
Competing as an individual,
Whitney Heinzmann had the strongest finish of any Bluejay golfer. Heinzmann shot an 88 to place fourth.
Emily Labrecque finished just two strokes behind Heinzmann, placing fifth with a 90.
Jorianne Maritato and
Amber Remblake each shot a 99 to tie for 25th place.
Devin Wangler placed 33rd with a 103 while
Courtney Classen (109 for 42nd place) and
Heather Flanigan (111 for 48th place) rounded out Elmhurst's scoring.
