Women's Golf Team Takes Fourth at UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Elmhurst College women's golf team shot a one-day total of 361 to place fourth at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Spring Fling Invitational.

The Bluejays finished just eight strokes behind third-place finisher Carthage College (353). UW-Whitewater won the team title with a 325. 

Kelly Partyka was the top finisher for the Bluejays, shooting an 85 to tie for seventh place. Amber Remblake fired an 86 to tie for ninth place while Trisha Goss shot a 94 to finish 25th. Courtney Classen finished with a 96 (tied for 28th) while Jorianne Maritato shot a 102 (tied for 35th).

Four Bluejays competed as individuals and did not factor in the team score. Emily Labrecque matched Partyka's score of 85 to tie for seventh place. Whitney Heinzmann shot an 89 to tie for 18th place while Heather Flanigan tied Maritato with a 102. Devin Wangler added a 110 for the Bluejays to place 37th.
