David Devaney Earns All-Conference Recognition

ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst College men's tennis player
David Devaney was named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's all-conference second team.
Devaney, a sophomore from Marshall High School in Marshall, Mich., was the only Bluejay named to the 12-player all-conference squad. Devaney had an outstanding year for the Bluejays, leading the team in both singles and doubles victories.
Devaney compiled a 12-7 overall record in singles competition. He finished with a 2-2 mark at No. 1 singles and posted an impressive 10-5 mark at No. 2 singles. In doubles play, he teamed with Dave Douglass to finish with a 7-11 record at No. 1 doubles.
Elmhurst finished the 2010 season with a 7-15 overall record and a sixth-place finish at the CCIW Championship.
