ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's soccer team recently gave back to the community by spending time cleaning up a pair of Elmhurst community parks.
The Bluejays spent several hours picking up debris and cleaning up both Berens Park and Plunkett Park in Elmhurst.
"I am very happy that our team could help to keep the parks a safe and fun envirnament for all to enjoy," said Elmhurst head coach Dave Di Tomasso.
The men's soccer team plays several of its home games at Berens Park. The Bluejays are coming off their best season to date, winning their first-ever CCIW Championship and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first-time in school history.
