MONMOUTH, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's golf team shot a one-day total of 374 to place 12th at Monmouth College's Fighting Scots Invitational at Gibson Woods Golf Course. 

Elmhurst totaled a 374, finishing just three strokes behind 11th place finisher Millikin University (371). North Central College (335) edged Grinnell College (336) to earn the team title.

Amber Remblake was the top finisher for the Bluejays, shooting an 89 to tie for 29th place. Courtney Classen carded a 94 to tie for 48th place while Kelly Partyka finished a stroke behind with a 95 (tie for 50th place). Amanda Wright totaled a 96 to tie for 54th place. Trisha Goss rounded out Elmhurst's team scoring by tying for 73rd place with a 107.

Devin Wangler shot a 99 to place 64th while competing as an individual. 

The Bluejays will host the Elmhurst College Invitational on Tuesday, September 21 at Oak Brook Golf Club.
