ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's cross country team totaled 136 points to place fifth at the Elmhurst Earlybird Invitational at Eldridge Park.
The University of Chicago won the team title with 21 points while the University of St. Francis finished second with 66 points. Loras College finished in third place with 100 points, just five points in front of fourth-place finisher Trinity Christian College.
Lauren Williams was the top Elmhurst runner, finishing in 17th place with a time of 16:02.8.
Hannah Williams placed 22nd with a time of 16:15.0.
Mariola Grzybowska finished in 25th place with a time of 16:24.6 while
Amanda Andersen placed 33rd in 16:45.0.
Megan Johnson rounded out the Bluejays' team scoring by crossing the finish line in 47th place in 17:08.9.
Lauren Baldacci finished 53rd (17:19.1) and
Stephanie Beckwith placed 71st (17:49.7) to complete the Bluejays' top-seven.
