WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Elmhurst College volleyball team slipped to 3-3 overall following a pair of losses at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational.
The Bluejays started the day with a three-set loss to Wisconsin Lutheran College and then were defeated 3-0 by the host Warhawks.
WISCONSIN LUTHERAN 3, ELMHURST 0 - Elmhurst dropped to 3-2 on the season following a 24-26, 16-25, 24-26 loss to Wisconsin Lutheran College.
Katie Kasper led the Elmhurst offense with eight kills in the loss.
Paige Fombelle,
Megan Reynolds and
Janelle Thompson each totaled five kills in the loss.
Erin Thill led the squad in assists with 34 while,
Katie Rueffer added 26 assists.
Jameela Chaudhry totaled a team-leading 25 digs in the loss.
WISCONSIN-WHITEWATER 3, ELMHURST 0 - Elmhurst fell to 3-3 overall following a 20-25, 24-26, 11-25 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Kasper totaled five kills and three blocks in the loss while Thill and Rueffer totaled 24 assists apiece.
Elmhurst travels to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational on September 10-11.
