PAMONA, Calif. - The Elmhurst College women's cross country team totaled 334 points to place 14th out of 15 teams at the Pamona-Pitzer Invitational.
Cal. State-San Marcos won the team title with 24 points.
Lauren Williams was the top finisher for the Bluejays, crossing the finish line in 58th place with a time of 23:52.2.
Mariola Grzybowska finished just behind Williams in 59th place with a time of 23:57.1
Hannah Williams completed the course in 24:33.5, good for 89th place.
Maria Luna placed 95th (24:41.2) and
Elyse Christofanelli placed 120th (25:15.9) to complete the Bluejays team score.
Charlotte Murphy added a 145th-place finish (26:12.3) and
Lauren Baldacci finished in 149th place (26:26.7) to round out the Bluejays' top-seven.
Elmhurst runs at the Benedictine University Invitational on October 7.
