CHICAGO, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's cross country team totaled 126 points to place sixth at the CCIW Championship at Montrose Harbor.

North Central College won the team title with 30 points while Illinois Wesleyan University finished second with 47 points. Augustana College (80) finished third and Wheaton College (111) placed fourth. Carthage College finished seven points in front of Elmhurst (119) to place fifth. Millikin University totaled 214 points to take seventh.

Lauren Williams earned all-conference honors by virtue of her ninth-place individual finish in 23:41.96. Mariola Grzybowska completed the course in 24:10.19 to finish 19th while Hannah Williams was just three places behind in 22nd place in 24:32.24. Elyse Christofanelli placed 42nd in 25:30.74 and Maria Luna completed the Bluejays' team score by placing 45th overall with a time of 25:43.24. Lauren Baldacci (50th place in 25:25.11) and Rachel Gibson (56th place in 27:09.26) rounded out the Bluejays' top-seven.

Elmhurst runs at the NCAA Midwest Regional on November 12.
