ELMHURST, Ill. -
Elmhurst head coach Julie Hall has been named the AVCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year while Megan Reynolds and Perrie Morgan have both earned first-team all-region accolades.

Megan Reynolds
Reynolds, a sophomore middle hitter, earned her second straight first-team all-region honor after being named the Region's Freshman of the Year in 2010. A two-time first-team all-conference selection, Reynolds leads the Bluejays in kills (396), kills per set (3.17), hitting percentage (.380), blocks (151), and blocks per set (1.21). She currently ranks 15th in the nation in blocks per set and 19th in the nation in hitting percentage. Reynolds led the CCIW in blocks per set (1.46 in league games) while ranking fourth in kills and fifth in hitting percentage. Reynolds was named an AVCA honorable mention All-American during the 2010 season.

Perrie Morgan
Morgan, a junior libero, received the first all-region honor of her two-year career at Elmhurst. A first-team all-conference selection in 2011, Morgan ranks as the team's leader in digs (641) and digs per set (5.34). She also ranked third on the squad in service aces with 21. Hall was named the region's Coach of the Year for the second time in her career after first earning the award during the 2000 season. In her 18th season as the Bluejays' head coach, Hall helped lead the Bluejays back to the NCAA Championship for the first time since the 2005 season. Unranked at the start of the 2011 season, the Bluejays put together a 30-win season and have risen to 16th in the latest AVCA poll. The Bluejays strung together a 17-match winning streak that spanned from October 4 through November 4. During this season, Hall recorded her 450th career victory and moved her career record to 464-224.

Elmhurst faces Cornell College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday (November 11) at Washington University in St. Louis.
