RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's track and field team totaled 24.0 points to take home ninth place at Concordia University-Chicago's Cougar Invitational.

The University of Illinois-Chicago won the team title with 170 points. Wheaton College finished second with 142.5 points.

Pat Austin was the top finisher for the Bluejays, placing third in the 5,000 meters in 15:09.38. Jeff Camp added a point in the 5,000 meters by placing eighth in 16:23.35.

Mark D'Angelo scored six points for the Bluejays in a pair of sprints. D'Angelo finished fourth in the 400 meters in 50.28 seconds. He scored a point in the 200 meters by placing eighth with a time of 22.93 seconds.

Elmhurst's relay teams also did well. The Bluejays' 4x100 squad placed third in 44.42 seconds to total six team points.
