PLAINFIELD, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team shot a one-day total of 308 to place sixth a the University of St. Francis Fall Classic.
Carthage College won the team title with a 289 while St. Francis placed second with a 291. Calumet College took home third place with a 303. North Central College shot a 304 to finish fourth while the College of DuPage placed fifth with a 306.
Tyler Beyak carded a one-over-par 73 to tie for sixth place and lead the Bluejays.
Joe Johnston shot a 76 to tie for 20th place while
Matt Cross finished just one stroke behind with a 77, tying for 28th place.
Evan Haase tied for 57th place with an 82 while
Grant Yoder shot an 83 to tie for 64th place.
The Bluejays' "B" squad placed 12th with a 321.
Mike Somone finished with a three-over-par 75 to tie for 18th place.
Jordan Christensen added a 79 to tie for 37th place.
Nick Dylla (83, good for 64th place) and
Jimmy Critchfield (84, good for 76th place) rounded out the Bluejays' "B" squad.
