BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's track and field team totaled nine points to place 15th at Illinois Wesleyan University's Bob Keck Invitational.

Elmhurst placed 15th out of 17 teams. Illinois State University won the team title with 114 points.

Jake Austin scored six of Elmhurst's nine points by placing third in the 3,000 meters. Austin crossed the finish line in 8:40.25. Doug Vrchota added a point for Elmhurst in the 5,000 meters. Vrchota finished the race in 15:52.11, good for a sixth-place finish.

The Bluejays also scored two points in the 4x400 relay with a sixth-place finish in 3:30.43. 

Mark D'Angelo also scored a top-10 finish for the Bluejays in the 400 meters, D'Angelo placed eighth in the race in 51:51. 

Elmhurst travels to the Chicagoland Indoor Championships at North Central College on Saturday, February 11.
