WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Elmhurst women's tennis team slipped to 1-12 on the season following a 6-0 rain-shortened loss to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Rain wiped out doubles play, but UW-Whitewater won all six of the singles matches to earn the win.

Kalla Schaefer blanked Stephanie Ruff 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles while Annie Smith followed with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Nicole Darga at No. 2 singles. Alexandra Bayliss defeated Jordyn Hoover 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles while Jackie Vitale downed Kayla Mangiapane 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles. At No. 5 singles, the Warhawks' Kelly Foster downed Emily Tarlini 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles. Abby Day closed out singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Ragan Wilson at No. 6 singles.

The Bluejays wrap up the season against Dominican University on April 29.
