La CROSSE, Wis. - Four members of the Elmhurst College wrestling team were named Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

Ryan Earley, Mike Grice, Danny Balderas, and Danny Vargas all earned the distinction for the Bluejays.

Earley finished the season with a 23-7 overall record and was national qualifier at 149 pounds. Earley finished second at the CCIW Championships and placed third at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. A Business major, Earley maintains a 3.23 grade-point average.

Grice finished the season with a 13-14 record while wrestling at 157 pounds. He finished as the CCIW runner-up and placed fourth at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. An education major, Grice maintains a 3.83 GPA.

Balderas compiled a 21-7 record and placed second at the CCIW Championship while competing at 174 pounds. An exercise science major, Balderas has a 3.45 grade-point average.

Vargas totaled a 16-7 record and finished as the CCIW runner-up at 197 pounds. An education major, Vargas maintained a 3.36 grade-point average.
