KENOSHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst College men's golf team shot a one-day total of 326 to place fifth out of seven teams at Carthage College's Spring Invitational at Kenosha Country Club.
Carthage won the team title with a 303. Benedictine University placed second with a 307 and Carroll University took third with a 310.
Grant Yoder led the Bluejays by shooting a six-over par 76. Yoder tied for sixth place to lead the Elmhurst squad.
Evan Haase carded an 82 to tie for 23rd place while
Tyler Beyak finished just one stroke behind with an 83, good for 29th place.
Nick Dylla finished the course with an 85, tying for 39th place.
Joe Johnston rounded out the Bluejays' team score with an 86 (tied for 41st place)
Competing as an individual,
Jon Gill shot a 91 to tie for 53rd place.
Dalton Bullard carded a 101 to place 60th.
Elmhurst will compete in the opening rounds of the CCIW Championship on April 27-28.
